War Of Cakes

Somewhere on this Blogosphere, a set of young people have elected to engage a Government appointee in a war of cakes.

Sometimes, my heart goes out to our politicians. Arguably the most maligned, the most vilified and demonized of the lot.

When they contest, we milk them dry. A reason why the poor people with noble ideals and big ideas never dare to aspire.

When they demand jumbo pay, we shout them down, hound them and scream OCCUPY this and that.

But night and day we besiege them, for the lure of cash. There, we would have them use public funds to buys us by-products of Tar, rather than have them Tar our roads!

Woe be-tide them if they turn down even the least of our selfish request, we remember our right to "Freedom of Speech", only this time, geared to pull them down.

Chinese students who were caught having sex in public have landed in trouble after being charged to court for the shameful act. The girl, known as Wu Xinyi, 18, was caught having sex with a man outside her university halls at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Ho Man Tin. The Chinese student pleaded guilty to having sex in the busy street. However, her partner, Yang Hao, 19, who is a student at Hong Kong Baptist University, denied the charges during a court hearing on Thursday. Kowloon City Court heard that in the early hours of April 1 Yang was spotted removing the girls pants before the pair began having sex at a bus stop outside the residential halls. Three minutes into the act, a security guard noticed what was happening and demanded that they stop but to no avail. After going to notify the police, he then saw the teenagers engage in oral sex. At $60,000 per 750 ml, this ought to quench your thirst and empty your pocket. The water is sourced from either France or Fiji. If you really think about it, this is not really that expensive considering the fact that the bottle is made of solid gold that weighs 24 karats. The bottle was designed by Fernando Altamirano of Tequila Ley fame, the makers of one of the most expensive spirits in the world. He is also credited with the design of the Cognac Dudognon Heritage Henri IV, considered the most expensive cognac bottle in the world. Aside from the solid gold bottle, there were also versions in gold matte, silver, silver matte, crystal and a variety of combinations of all these.  The non-solid gold bottles sell for $3,600 dollars.
