Delta state Governor's wife donates borehole to Ogwashi-ukwu community
Ogwashi-ukwu Delta state, the native home of Dr. Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (immediate past coordinating minister of the economy) has no portable water and has not seen a "flash" of light in over 5 years, but now Ogwashi-ukwu Federal prisons has water!

DELTA STATE FIRST LADY COMMISSIONS WATER BOREHOLE AT OGWASHI-UKU PRISON IN FULFILLMENT OF HER BIRTHDAY PROMISES TO THE INMATES
Delta State First lady, Dame Edith Okowa has commissioned bore hole at Oghashu-uku prison.
This is in fulfilment of her birthday promises, made during her birthday celebrations with the inmates of the prison on June 1st 2015.
On the light issue, there is an Earth Dam project attracted, during the Obasanjo administration by Hon. Pascal Adigwe, who represented Aniocha Oshimili Federal constituency in the house of Reps between 2003-2007, and was awarded to Mssrs Nelson Benjamin, aimed at restoring light to the ancient town.
This project has lingered till date, with feelers having it that what was needed to tidy up the job is N14m naira.
