Imo State University Alumni holds World convention in Enugu

After arrival was the dinner party, recognition of chapters present and familiarisation. The Alumni has so far, under the current leadership inaugurated new chapters, Enugu (the hosts), Bayelsa and Abia, in addition to the existing ones, Owerri (referred to as the mother chapter), Abuja and Lagos chapter.
The next day, Saturday, 5th August, 2017 started on a sporting note. There was road walk in the morning and soccer, in the evening. The Road was featured the premier Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Thomas Onuoha Chukwujike (TOC) Ndubuizu
The main event commenced with the arrival of current Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Mrs. Victoria Adaobi-Obasi. She along side the Premier Vice Chancellor, Prof. TOC Ndubuizu

From 4th to 6th of August, 2017, the Imo State University Alumni Association (IMSUAA) held her maiden World convention in the old eastern regional headquarters, Enugu, under the able leadership of Enyioha Chris A.E Anyanwu, the National President.
The venue of the convention was Villa Toscana, Independence Layout, Enugu and arrival was on Friday, 4th August, 2017
