Obowo nay Okigwe is agog with cheering news of the appointment of Hon. Prince Daniel Chukwuocha as a Senior Legislative Aide to Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the Federal House of Representatives.

The news of the appointment of the Avutu, Obowo born Royal Prince Daniel Chukwuocha as a Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of House of Reps was released to the media by the member representing Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo Federal constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, who facilitated the appointment

Hon. Prince Daniel Chukwuocha, ONYEOMA PADOC as his fondly called by his admirers is a great mobilizer of repute, a trail blazer and a Royal Prince, from Avutu, in Obowo Local Government Area.

It is on record that Padoc played a pivotal role during the electioneering campaign of Deacon Chike Okafor as his Campaign Director in Obowo LGA. Padoc has been a  close ally of Deacon Chike Okafor, over the years.

The name Padoc rings a bell in Okigwe Zone and it is often said that "onye ji Padoc ji mmadu" (Padoc is a trusted ally).

Chinese students who were caught having sex in public have landed in trouble after being charged to court for the shameful act. The girl, known as Wu Xinyi, 18, was caught having sex with a man outside her university halls at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Ho Man Tin. The Chinese student pleaded guilty to having sex in the busy street. However, her partner, Yang Hao, 19, who is a student at Hong Kong Baptist University, denied the charges during a court hearing on Thursday.
