Bullet proof cars...

A cabal is after me.... I need a bullet proof car,  bullet proof house, bullet proof dress,  bullet proof food and even bullet proof air.  so that I can speak bullet proof words,  loot bullet proof public funds  and make bullet proof moves...  Can't I have bullet proof kids???  And even in death...  My dear loved ones, make sure it is bullet proof casket...  The type that survives air crash! Yes, I am a minister, on my mind!

My thoughts on the Proposed "National Dialogue"

A National Dialogue is noble idea, if initiated for the right reasons, and in the best interest of the country. It will address certain issues that has been subject of debate and disputes. If it doesn't end abruptly like the Niki Tobi confab, it will, at least be able to put to rest many agitations, calm frayed nerves and heal many wounds. But, owing to the constant abuse of roundtable discourse by this, and previous Administrations, who will blame us for becoming habitual pessimists? A lot has happened that we should learn from, thus I don't accept the argument that "we should give it a try". And by the time we are done trying, our time and resources vanishes, and the effort ends up in Mr. President's Keep-In-View files! But the trend with which the dialogue is being forced on us amazes me. Its time to Occupy ASUU.

By Francis Ndimkoha At first sight of the title, myriad questions inundate your mind. Don’t begin by asking “why not occupy Federal Government?”. This movement cannot occupy both bodies as different entities. ASUU is actually an employee of Federal Government. Therefore in occupying ASUU, we shall occupy Federal Government. Don’t begin by asking if I’m a Nigerian student; the current set of students must make way, if only my younger ones must go to school.  Don’t ask me if I’m of NANS. Read on, and you will know why NANS can’t hold the forte any longer. The most painful thing about the Nigerian Student is his laxity. They don’t give a damn about whatever goes wrong. They won’t speak and be heard. But if one of the oppressors decides suddenly to (re)contest for an elective office, they don’t mind going up in arms to support “our brother”.
